Other items of interest
We’ve received a number of emails
from coordinators regarding
unsolicited communications from
the website ‘Nextdoor.co.uk’.

This is the UK offshoot of an
established American social media
site which professes to be focused
on ‘local’ town areas. Some of our
members who have signed up to the service have complained that
Nextdoor appears to send
personalised invitations through the post to nearby residents, purporting to be from the member themselves.

Useful information
We’ve added another useful site to
our ‘Useful Links’ page. This time,
it’s ‘Fixmystreet.com‘ a site which
enables you to locate an issue – for
example a pothole or a blocked
drain – and report it. The site will
route your problem to the most
appropriate authority.

Some of us here on the NWA
committee have been using this site to report problems for a year or two and we can recommend it.

We have recently updated our website so please take the time to explore the menu options and check out the various links.  Comments on the content and suggestions for improvement would be welcomed, simply click this link to send them.

For membership queries or to get in touch with the committee for any other reason, please use the options under ‘Contact us‘ in the menu.

Joining us is easy too, so if you are not member and you are interested in becoming a coordinator, find out more by emailing us.
